ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE INFORMATION

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will be your arrival and departure airport. Upon your arrival we will be there to greet you and bring you to the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco. The drive to San Francisco takes approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic.

 

WHEN TO ARRIVE AND DEPART

Please arrive in the morning or afternoon of Wednesday, November 5th. Depart in the evening (after 7:00 PM) of Sunday November 9th, or spend some time in San Francisco after the trip ends on the 9th. The trip fee covers all lodging from Wednesday to Saturday (4 nights).

 

INTERNET & LAUNDRY

You will have wireless access at our lodging each night. We provide all of our guests with laundry of their cycling clothing at a minimum every second day.

 

TRIP PRICING

$4,250 per-person based on double occupancy. For single occupancy there is an additional 15% fee.

We have a “you cannot touch your wallet” policy from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Trip pricing includes all lodging (excluding pre- and post-trip), meals, beverages including alcohol, and laundry. Should you wish to tip our incredibly hard-working staff, we ask you to please wait until the last day of the trip.

Not included is your airfare to and from San Francisco and your lodging pre- and post-trip. We are happy to work with you to arrange flights and hotels before or after the trip. Should you need special arrangements made for airport pick up we are happy to work with you on this as well on a case-by-case basis.

 

BIKES AND CLOTHING

Although we live in California, our hearts rest in Italy, and that’s why we have a fleet of fifteen SRAM and Zipp-equipped 2015 Pinarello DogmaThink2’s. Bikes are assigned at time of booking on a first come first serve basis.

If you wish to bring your own bike, our mechanic will unpack it from your bike case and repack it for you at the end of the trip. It is customary to have your bike tuned and clean before you leave home so that it is ready to ride upon your arrival. You will return home with a clean bike as well. Should your bike need any work please feel free to bring the parts and our mechanic will take care of everything for you. If you would like to ship your bike to us ahead of time we will have it pre-assembled by our mechanic and waiting for you when you arrive.

So that we can all look good on the bike, you will receive a full Giordana custom inGamba Kit worth $350.00. In addition, for the duration of the trip we will provide a Garmin 810 unit, custom Elite bidons and a custom inGamba saddlebag.

 

CANCELATION POLICY

Life happens and we understand that plans can change. Should you need to cancel your trip due to an emergency (boss needs me at a meeting isn’t one of them), please call us and we will be as accommodating as possible including issuing you a refund or a credit towards a future trip. Some of our trips have wait lists and we can generally fill in from it with enough time. 

Our lawyer did tell us to have an official cancelation policy. Here it is: The initial deposit is non-refundable. Balances are subject to the following cancellation policy: 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days prior to the trip. For cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the departure, no refunds can be made.

 

ITINERARY

Prior to your arrival you will receive an itinerary for the trip to whet your appetite for what’s ahead. Although we have a daily schedule that you will receive each evening for the next day, we are very much open to what the road gives us and are often flexible with schedules. We like to know our guests and finalize things based on what will give them the experience of a lifetime. We’ve been known for a surprise or two in order to delight you.
